Who am I?

Being born in San Diego, I immediately became the stereotype by falling in love with anything having to do with the beach culture. From riding my skate board down our board walk countless times to pulling lobsters out of our beautiful waters.

Besides being a proud San Diegan, I’m also a proud Californian. I fell in love our agriculture side. I was in the Future Farmers of America for all four years of high school and post graduation worked there part time as the pig herd manager while attending community college trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my life.

At the time I thought I wanted to be a butcher. I dropped out of college and worked long hours each week for months before realizing I wasn’t meant to do that yet.

I quit and went back to school and back to work for my Dad, who saw my brothers and I as employees since we where big enough to swing a hammer, installing floor.

After a few months back with him I still felt lost and thought a new scene working for different contractors would solve that issue. I ended up learning most of the trades while going back to college.

An amazing English teacher and a song on the radio later I wrote a novel in less than year and rediscovered a love for creating music and art in many forms.

This is a small summary of what has been an interesting twenty six years.

If you ask me to describe myself in on word I’d give you the same answer those around me give to strangers.

Simply Bonel.
